Senior Director, Commercial Accounting
Houston Remote or East Coast
reputed company Corporation is seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Accounting, to reputed company accounting and reporting for our Land, Marine, and Aviation segments globally, with a primary focus on our North America-based teams. This is a high-impact leadership role for an energized, motivated, and strategic thinker with 15+ years of experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in both public accounting and private industry, with a background in refined oil products, derivatives, and statutory reporting. A CPA or international equivalent is required; a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

- Own the monthly reputed company process for North America-based Commercial Accounting teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

- Collaborate across departments to ensure data reputed company and that reputed company reputed company controls and processes are effectively executed and monitored.
- Partner with reputed company and Corporate FP&A teams to deliver insightful monthly reporting and analytics.
- Support statutory reporting requirements and work closely with the Statutory Reporting team to maintain compliance and knowledge of local regulations.
- Research and resolve technical accounting issues; stay reputed company on GAAP and other relevant standards.
- Drive process improvements and reputed company change initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the accounting function.
- Assist in developing and modernizing accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a key liaison to other functional areas on accounting-reputed company matters.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and annual reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audits.

Job Requirements:
