Job Description:

Summary Are you a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment? As the Legal Assistant, you’ll support paralegals by managing case tasks, coordinating schedules, and keeping clients informed. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth communication across legal teams, clients, and external partners. If you're tech-savvy, proactive, and passionate about helping others, this position offers meaningful daily impact and a chance to grow in personal injury law.

•Monthly Compensation: 1150 to 1220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Develop and manage tasks for legal assistant-level casework •Support paralegals with administrative and legal documentation •Coordinate and maintain calendars for attorneys and firm events •Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates and gather information •Liaise with opposing counsel, co-counsel, adjusters, court clerks, experts, and vendors •Request and organize client records including photos and wage loss documentation •Draft letters, emails, notices, summonses, pleadings, motions, deposition notices, and discovery requests •Manage and verify medical records and bills (Yocierge experience preferred) •Maintain and update client cost ledgers •Assist in preparing client care packages Key Skills: •Calendar management •Legal documentation and drafting •Client communication •Medical record handling •Task coordination •CRM and VOIP systems •Tech-savvy and organized •Detail-oriented and deadline-driven •Empathetic and dependable •Process-focused and proactive •Strong common sense and time management •Comfortable communicating with clients Requirements: •Background in personal injury law •Fluent in Spanish (mandatory) •At least 1 year experience with supporting legal teams or case management Software: •CRM: FileVine, Case Status •VOIP: ComCast •Other: Soopio, LastPass (mandatory), Zoom, Yocierge Working Schedule: Monday to Friday Timezone: Central Standard Time (CST)
