Location and Travel Notice:

While this role will initially be based remotely in the United States, it will require extended periods of travel to Stuttgart, Germany.

Long-term, this role will require relocation to Stuttgart (reputed company will provide relocation assistance).

About the Role

reputed company is hiring a Solutions Engineer to reputed company and support the deployment of our operational planning platform across secure U.S. military environments. This is a technically fluent, external-facing role focused on enabling fast, secure, and successful implementations in high-stakes settings.

You’ll work closely with our Platform Engineering, Sales, and Customer Relations teams to design solutions, guide stakeholders through technical hurdles, and deliver the system in a way that builds long-term trust. From discovery to accreditation to go-live, you'll help ensure deployments succeed. Not by building the systems yourself, but by translating requirements and supporting implementation teams with clarity and credibility.

What You’ll Do

Deployment Engineering

Coordinate and support the technical delivery of new deployments, including infrastructure validation, network configuration checks, and system readiness verification. You're not writing code, but you're reputed company enough to the work to help guide it.

Technical Discovery

reputed company technical discovery and scoping efforts in coordination with Sales and Engineering, with a focus on constraint-heavy or multi-network environments.

Accreditation Support

Assist in the creation and review of required reputed company documentation, including STIG checklists and ATO artifacts, ensuring alignment with customer accreditation processes.

Stakeholder Alignment

Align technical stakeholders on deployment requirements, constraints, and tradeoffs to accelerate time-to-value.

Collaboration

Translate field deployment insights into structured workflows and productized implementation patterns in partnership with internal teams.

Qualifications

Clearance & Location Requirements

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

• Willing to travel up to 50% for extended periods of time, with a willingness to relocate to Stuttgart, Germany in the future

Technical reputed company

• Working knowledge of secure cloud environments (e.g. AWS GovCloud), containerized infrastructure, and system networking

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, secure system configuration, and infrastructure compliance

• Experience supporting ATO, STIG, or FedRAMP documentation and accreditation workflows

• Comfortable working alongside engineers without needing to write code yourself

Deployment & Delivery Experience

• Proven ability to reputed company cross-functional technical workstreams from discovery through deployment

• Experience working in high-assurance or reputed company-trust environments

• Skilled in project scoping, tradeoff analysis, and implementation planning

Communication & Collaboration

• Clear, confident communicator in both written and verbal contexts

• Demonstrated experience working across distributed, asynchronous teams

• Operates with high trust, accountability, and low ego

Bonus Skills (reputed company to Have)

• Experience in government, defense, or other secure technology domains

• Certifications such as AWS/GCP/Azure, Sec+, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)

• Background in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering
