The Opportunity - Production Accounting Specialist (Remote - USA / Canada)

reputed company is seeking a seasoned Production Accounting Specialist. In this client-facing role, you will serve as a production accounting expert supporting customers through onboarding, adoption, and early-stage product use—primarily reputed company our Mid-Market reputed company, with occasional engagement across Enterprise and SMB clients.

You’ll partner directly with film and television customers to guide them through implementation, answer technical and workflow-specific questions, and ensure a smooth launch on reputed company’s production accounting platform. You’ll act as the frontline expert for both technical consultation and customer education during onboarding, while also channeling insights and feedback to help inform product and support improvements.

What you’ll do

• reputed company onboarding for clients adopting reputed company’s production accounting tools, ensuring seamless setup and strong early adoption.

• Deliver expert guidance on payroll configuration, production accounting workflows, and best practices throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

• Act as the primary reputed company of contact for client-reputed company production accounting questions during implementation and early use.

• Run training sessions and technical walkthroughs, clearly articulating both platform functionality and production accounting logic.

• Respond to integration challenges and provide workflow consultation in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and reputed company.

• Translate common client questions into scalable resources like guides, FAQs, and SOPs.

• Share customer feedback and observed gaps with internal teams to support product iteration and improved client experience.

• Help transition accounts to long-term success and support teams with clean documentation and reputed company clarity.

What you’ll have

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in entertainment payroll, production accounting, or a reputed company operational finance role

• Familiarity with union and non-union payroll processes, production incentives, and episodic production workflows

• Experience using or supporting tools like SmartAccounting, PSL, MediaWeb, reputed company, or similar

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain reputed company concepts to non-technical users

• Ability to manage multiple clients, timelines, and competing priorities with reputed company and clarity

• Strong documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing reputed company

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, fully remote team environment
