Position Overview:

The Senior Director, Business Development willfocus on identifying, developing and winning U.S. business opportunities.

**This role offers reputed company salary as well as 100% commission. Boston location strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling clinical trials software (IVR/IWR) to pharmaceutical and biotech companies
  • Achieving company sales goals
  • Establish and maintain client relationships while prospecting for new opportunities
  • Educate customers on the value of a new software platform
  • Maintain accurate records and log reputed company activities in our sales force automation system
  • Communicate weekly activities and coordinate sales pipeline with sales leadership
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients about the reputed company platform
  • Generate quotes and proposals using available templates
  • Participate in various trade shows and conferences
  • Assist in the creation of new sales plans and strategies
  • Accountabilities:
  • Demonstrate efficient and accurate completion of reputed company responsibilities.
  • Winning customer awards for new business
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
  • Experience:

  • 5-7 years IVR/IWR or pharmaceutical services reputed company sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in Business to Business Software sales
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a sales team environment.
  • Organized with methodical approach for prospecting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
