About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Teach one to two K-12 lessons each day, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, using object-based and inquiry-based teaching approaches
• Collaborate with school and teacher programs team members to reputed company lessons and materials
• Thoroughly prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in advance of tours
• Attend weekly school and teacher programs staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
• Attend and actively participate in trainings and reputed company other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience teaching children in a museum, classroom, or other arts organization
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and engage with a wide range of people, including PreK-12 reputed company and their teachers and other Museum staff
• Background knowledge of elementary or secondary education and art and/or art history desired

Preferred Qualifications
