About the Role: Pharmacy Technician - Appeals Department

As a Pharmacy Technician in our Appeals department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the medications they need, despite initial denials. Your primary responsibility will be to process denied Prior Authorizations, working closely with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists to resolve issues and reputed company successful outcomes. This involves reviewing case information, reaching out to patients and healthcare providers for additional details, and preparing cases for pharmacists' final determination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process denied Prior Authorizations for Medicare and Medicaid patients, with a primary focus on Medicare cases.
• Communicate directly with elderly patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues reputed company to denied medications, particularly injectables administered at doctor's offices.
