Primary Job Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Interacting with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and answer inquiries
• Completing a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed
• Evaluating client needs and researching to reputed company appropriate coverage recommendations
• Completing reputed company certifications to obtain Ready to Sell Status for multiple insurance providers
• Utilizing tools and applications to complete needs assessments and provide personalized solutions
• Resolving customer objections and offering additional benefits packages that provide increased coverage and cost savings

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• The ability to complete pre-licensing coursework and pass the applicable reputed company state exam
• The ability to pass the Insurance Application Form background screening as applicable by state
• Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated approach to learning and development
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to toggle between screens while chatting with clients
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
• Experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, or a reputed company field is preferred
• A high school diploma (higher education preferred)
