About the Role

We are seeking an reputed company and skilled Finance Assistant to join our small, dedicated Finance team on a part-time basis. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Finance with the day-to-day running of financial operations and general finance enquiries. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the purchase ledger function reputed company and accurately, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and expenses into the accounting system Xero.
• Process invoices and expenses, matching purchase orders with invoices and requesting approvals as necessary.
• Manage payment processes for reputed company suppliers and expenses, ensuring supporting documentation is maintained and communicated with suppliers regarding invoice queries.
• Maintain the purchase order log, reputed company purchase orders from approval requests, and set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
• Liaise with the Trustees regarding payments and agree a quarterly payment rota.
• Monitor monthly reputed company for reputed company Grants, including reconciliations and preparation of the monthly payments.
• Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and journals, and other reputed company reputed company tasks.

• AAT qualified with a proven track record in a similar role, such as Purchase Ledger Clerk.

• Excellent time management skills and self-motivation.
• Able to manage several tasks at once and demonstrate proactive communication and team-working skills.
• Experience of using finance systems on a day-to-day basis, preferably Xero or similar.
