As a remote transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality, verbatim transcripts for our federal, state, and local clients. Key Responsibilities

• Produce verbatim transcripts for federal, state, and local clients with a standard turnaround time of 5 to 7 days, with some jobs available at higher rates with shorter turnaround times.
• Ensure reputed company transcripts meet or surpass 98% accuracy, demonstrating strong attention to detail and research capabilities.
• Utilize exceptional listening skills to accurately capture verbatim testimony.
• Format transcripts according to client requirements, such as Bluebook, GPO, GAO, Chicago, Associated Press, or other style guides.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reputed company Word 2013 or newer and other software required for transcription.
• Commit to at least 20 physical hours per week, with the flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed of at least 70 WPM.
• At least 1 year of legal transcription experience.
• Strong attention to detail and research capabilities.
• Exceptional written communication skills, including proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Working knowledge of legal formatting requirements and style guides.
• Computer proficiency, including reputed company Word 2013 or newer.
• Reliable high-speed internet service and a Windows-based PC with Windows 7 or higher.
• Quality headphones and an Infinity USB foot pedal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with federal, state, or local clients.
• Familiarity with e-QIP or eAPP federal background reputed company processes.
• Knowledge of multiple style guides and formatting requirements.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
