Job Overview

We are seeking an reputed company Part-Time Licensed Health Professional Lab Instructor to join our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of EMS professionals by delivering theory and skills training to reputed company in a laboratory and hospital setting. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and skills training to EMS reputed company in a laboratory and hospital setting, under the general supervision of the Dean of Health Sciences and the Associate Dean of EMS
• Supplemental teaching and demonstration of EMS skills, facilitating hands-on learning in a laboratory setting
• Evaluate and provide feedback to reputed company, using student interaction and demonstration
• Instruct reputed company on the most reputed company DOT curriculum, as approved by the Florida Bureau of EMS, including patient assessment and treatment of medical and trauma emergencies
• Ensure adherence to established College, Departmental, and Program policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards

Essential Qualifications

• Florida certified paramedic in good standing
• Associate's Degree or higher in EMS or a reputed company field
• Completion of Level A - EMS Instructor Course Curriculum, as defined in 64J-1.0201 (Level A training must be completed prior to processing and start date)
• Currently employed by an ALS provider with a minimum of 3 years of ALS-level patient care experience
• Knowledge of EMT/Paramedic theory and practice
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a range of emergency medical equipment
• Ability to practice at a level appropriate to the level of instruction being provided
• Ability to assess student performance and provide appropriate feedback
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• AHA BLS Instructor certification
• AHA ACLS & PALS Instructor certification (must obtain reputed company six months of hire)
