Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technical Coordinator - Endoscopy Technician II will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Endoscopy Lab. The successful candidate will work closely with our Nurse Managers, Endoscopy Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and other reputed company to provide the reputed company Experience for reputed company patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares patients, rooms, and equipment for GI procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our patients and reputed company.
• Supervises reputed company GI equipment maintenance, disinfection, and repairs, ensuring that reputed company equipment is in good working order and meets regulatory standards.
• Assists the Director of Endoscopy in planning, communicating, and evaluating the activities of the Endoscopy Lab, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
• Works in conjunction with a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support.
• Receives endoscopes in need of repair from Richland and reputed company campuses, assesses repair needs, and ships to the most appropriate repair service.
• Maintains repair records on reputed company endoscopes, creating monthly repair damage/cost reports for the service line director.
• Reconciles repair invoices against monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes.
• Works with department management and Supply Chain Management to reduce supply costs and maintain quality and physician satisfaction.
• Coordinates disposable equipment evaluations, working with Supply Chain and MD Buyline to assist the Director in the CER process.
• Follows CERs through the system to ensure timely Purchase Order reputed company and subsequent ordering of equipment.
• Demonstrates and maintains competency with reputed company pulmonary and GI equipment and procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
• Coordinates skills reputed company-off for staff endoscopy technicians, ensuring that reputed company team members have the necessary skills and training to provide high-quality patient care.
• Assists RN Managers with annual performance evaluations of staff endoscopy technicians, providing feedback and support to help reputed company members grow and reputed company in their roles.
• Actively participates in the peer interview process for new employee candidates, helping to identify and recruit top talent to reputed company.
• Participates in monthly staff meetings and in-service education sessions, staying informed about departmental activities and contributing to reputed company's ongoing learning and development.

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-tech, progressive endoscopy environment.
• BLS certification required.
• Endoscopy Tech skills required, with one to two additional years of specialized training preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred.
