About the job

This position is needed to help out the Edge Services team. The team that is responsible for the ingestion of reputed company’s Web Console and API traffic, and its supporting services. As part of the Edge Platform organization, we provide building blocks for reputed company reputed company customers and engineers alike, with high-availability and low-latency requirements, in order to effectively reputed company over billions of inbound requests every day. We take great pride in wearing customer’s shoes and making decisions inclusively. It is extremely important for us to build services with exceptionally high uptime, availability, and success rates. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure for reputed company’s microservices.
• Operate and maintain highly available services handling billions of weekly requests.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ensuring operational best practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support reputed company integration and deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure uptime of services through on-call rotations and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile ceremonies to drive technical excellence.
• Continuously improve cloud-based services, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Research and improve the design and implementation of reputed company’s API infrastructure regularly.

*Required

• 3+ years of experience in cloud or DevOps engineering, with proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Java or python.
• Demonstrated interest in architecting cloud-based solutions, leveraging AWS services such as CloudFront, reputed company, S3, etc.
• Strong experience or willingness to manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., reputed company), optimizing deployments, and maintaining high reliability through SLOs.
• Exposure to SLO tracking tools such as reputed company, and log reputed company like AWS CloudWatch, reputed company, Grafana.
• Previous exposure to service-oriented architectures, microservices, or REST APIs is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with making changes in production systems for cloud-native database solutions and data pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively reputed company an agile, fast-paced team, understanding the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong decision-making skills, balancing between the pros and cons of various cloud technologies, with a focus on making practical, scalable choices.

Desired

• Experience in reputed company such as WAF management, threat assessment.
• Experience building self service platform tools to improve developer experience and improve launch speed for internal teams.
• Proficient in Terraform 

Location

 This role will be based in Dublin or remote in Ireland.

Travel
