Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant performs a mixture of both clerical administrative medical assisting, as well as clinical medical office assisting in Primary and / or Specialty care settings.

Responsibilities :

• Receives patients and their families and directs them to the appropriate reputed company.
• Answers telephones promptly and politely.
• Schedules appointments
• Files pertinent information reputed company patient's records
• Obtains insurance prior authorizations
• Inputs charges on patient accounts
• Verifies patient insurance upon registration
• Billing
• Obtains & documents vital signs on patients
• Acts as a chaperone for the provider reputed company needed
• Obtains & document patient weights
• Assists physician with minor procedures such as suture removal

Education : Licenses / Certifications :

Physical Requirements : M - reputed company Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Pay Range : $18.01 - $24.34 The listed reputed company pay range is a good faith representation of reputed company potential reputed company pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
