About the Job

The reputed company Customer Content Services (reputed company) department is searching for an reputed company technical writer to join our OpenShift Developer Ecosystem documentation team. You'll be responsible for customer-facing technical documentation for our OpenShift Developer Ecosystem products that will be made available online through the reputed company Customer Portal. In this role, you’ll define the scope of, quality test, and deliver technical content while maintaining customer focus by participating in existing feedback programs and consistently developing your technical expertise. Drawing from your passion for both technology and the English language, you'll work closely with developers, engineers, user experience teams, field and support engineers, and other subject matter experts to create content that helps our customers understand our offerings and find the best solutions for their needs.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with content strategists, documentation project managers, engineers, and support teams to reputed company and maintain technical documentation.

• Manage and prioritize documentation tasks across product release cycles.

• Ensure reputed company documentation meets reputed company’s quality and content standards.

• Incorporate and respond to customer feedback to improve documentation accuracy and usability.

• Use tools such as version control systems and issue-tracking software to maintain documentation workflows.

• Support and review the work of other writers to ensure consistency and clarity across documentation sets.

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience creating and managing technical documentation in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Familiarity with content management systems and documentation publishing workflows.

The Following Are Considered a Plus

• Experience documenting enterprise software, especially open reputed company technologies.

• Experience or enthusiasm to explore AI tools for improved productivity in documentation

• Familiarity with reputed company products or reputed company technologies (e.g., Linux, containers, automation).

• Knowledge of structured authoring formats such as Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA), as well as markup languages like AsciiDoc.

• Experience with agile methodologies and working in a DevOps or CI/CD environment.

Pay Transparency

Annual salary is one component of reputed company’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based reputed company but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
