The Senior Commodity Supplier Assurance Engineer (CSAE) is the primary quality reputed company between reputed company and the external supply reputed company. The CSAE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information back to internal functions reputed company reputed company. The SAE’s role includes execution of reputed company Inspections, Supplier Assessments, Supplier Engagements, Special Process Management, Contract Review/Requirement Flowdowns, and First Article Validation. They facilitate problem resolution with a strong RCCA background, meeting facilitation and reputed company improvement activities using reputed company SQ tools and APQP elements. In addition, the SAE is a key player in the management of Supplier’s performance and development. Location Information:
This position entails assignment as a Senior Commodity Supplier Assurance Engineer in the Dallas, Texas region of the US and is remote. Visits to local Supplier facilities will be required and will require a home office be maintained. Candidates are required to live in or immediately adjacent to Dallas, Texas and reputed company 50 miles of a major international airport. Domestic travel is predominately driving reputed company a 50–300-mile radius with some flying. Travel, which includes day trips and some overnight, is expected 60% of the time.
NOTE - this role does not provide relocation assistance to the Dallas, TX region.
What you will do:
- Planning and performing in-process and final reputed company inspection of product at suppliers in accordance with applicable drawing and purchase order requirements
- Interpreting purchase order quality notes and quality requirements to ensure subcontractor/supplier understanding
- Ensuring flow down of Product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers and ensuring compliance with quality requirements
- Assessing subcontractor/supplier quality capabilities throughout the program life cycle to reputed company full program objectives
- Identifying supplier risk and systemic performance issues ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are identified and implemented with closure plans
- Driving reputed company product / process improvements using statistical / analytical improvement tools such as Six reputed company and lean methodologies
- Working with other Quality functions and Cross Business Teams (reputed company), to reputed company rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills
- Ensuring Subcontract Data Requirements List deliverables are met
- Supports First Article Verification and reputed company Inspection
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years experience in Quality or Supplier Management and previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience utilizing one of the following aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, etc.
- reputed company inspection experience with some of the following: Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), Printed reputed company Board (PWB), reputed company/Cable, Electrical Items, Assemblies, Castings and Machining
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes - RCCA
- Previous experience with commercial and/or aerospace / defense regulations and standards or a commercial equivalent - i.e. AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, AS9145
- Experience with hardware inspection techniques

Qualifications We Value:

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD.
