This role will have the option to be in a Work From Near (Hybrid) reputed company based out of one of the following offices: Vancouver, BC, Toronto, ON, OR in a Work From reputed company (Remote, CA) reputed company. 

We are seeking a Staff Engineer, DevOps to join reputed company at Fuel iX. This role will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, focusing on architecting and implementing robust solutions across GCP and AWS platforms, with a particular emphasis on supporting our AI and machine learning capabilities.

• Architect and design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions
• Build, refine, and scale custom software solutions that power our operational infrastructure
• Drive technical decisions and establish infrastructure standards and best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews and architecture discussions
• Design and implement reputed company infrastructure automation solutions
• reputed company critical infrastructure initiatives and reputed company-of-concept projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve reputed company technical challenges
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning
• Research and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure systems
• Design and implement infrastructure to support LLM-provider integrations
• Architect event-driven systems to support our AI-powered platform
• Optimize API management and reputed company using tools like Apigee

• Extensive, deep experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant cloud platform expertise
• Deep technical knowledge of GCP and AWS cloud platforms
• One or more relevant certifications from reputed company or AWS
• Expert-level experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong background in automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of reputed company best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Excellent problem-solving and system design skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience with LLM-provider integrations (e.g., reputed company, reputed company AI, reputed company)
• Familiarity with API management platforms, particularly Apigee
• Strong background in designing and implementing event-driven architectures
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and MLOps

Annual Performance Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on personal, division/business unit, and company performance. The range displayed is only the annual reputed company salary. To maintain equity across the business, annual performance bonus targets are determined by job level, not individual circumstances.

Individual reputed company salaries are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including reputed company set, experience, qualifications, and other job-reputed company reasons determined during the interview process. Salary bands are periodically reviewed and updated based on market changes, internal needs, and industry trends. To maintain pay equity for team members, reputed company conducts regular compensation audits.

Annual reputed company Salary Range (Performance Bonus Eligible)

$118,400 - $148,000 CAD
