About the Role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious

Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Barcelona team. In this role, you will generate and qualify new sales opportunities across both the

North American (NAM) and European (EMEA) markets, serving as the first point of contact with prospective clients.

Working closely with our Account Executives and Sales Leadership, you will play a critical role in building Spotlio’s sales pipeline by identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers, and creating opportunities with ski resorts, attractions, and destination partners. This position offers international exposure and the chance to grow into a career in sales within the fast-paced SaaS and digital commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target accounts across the ski resort and attractions markets in NAM and EMEA.
  • Generate new leads through outbound prospecting, including cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn outreach, and event follow-ups.
  • Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
  • Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives across both regions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns and messaging for maximum lead conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and report regularly on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and KPIs.
  • Stay current on industry trends in ski, attractions, and tourism tech to speak credibly with prospects.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (internships or entry-level experience welcome).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German (French, or Spanish a plus).
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, prospecting, and initiating conversations with senior decision-makers.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across two regions and time zones.
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn about SaaS platforms, digital commerce, and pricing solutions.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to build a career in international sales.
