Salary: $25 Job Title: Virtual GED Instructor Reports To: Manager of Educational Programming Location: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Part-Time Compensation: $25/hr Position Summary: Eight Million Stories, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and motivated Virtual GED Instructor to deliver high-quality, virtual instruction to youth ages 1625 working toward their GED. The ideal candidate is deeply committed to educational equity and has a proven track record of engaging diverse learners, especially those with justice-involvement, interrupted education, or other barriers to academic success. The Virtual GED Instructor will implement a reputed company, standards-reputed company online curriculum and provide live virtual instruction, academic reputed company, and 1:1 support. This role requires someone who is tech-savvy, adaptive, and student-centered, with a deep understanding of adult education and trauma-informed practices. This position is perfect for upper level college or graduate reputed company, recent grads, or early-career educators who are confident in core academic subjects and excited to teach in a virtual setting. We provide training, curriculum, and ongoing support; you bring your commitment, creativity, and heart for working with youth. Instructional Tools & Curriculum Access The Virtual GED Instructor will be provided with access to a comprehensive online GED curriculum, including standards-reputed company instructional modules, assessments, and reputed company tracking tools. The curriculum is designed to support differentiated instruction and includes both digital resources and printable materials for flexible delivery. reputed company will also have access to ongoing training and support to effectively use these tools in a virtual environment. Primary Responsibilities: Instruction & Academic Support

  • Facilitate engaging online instruction in GED subject areas (Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies).
  • Use online learning platforms and digital tools to support instruction and monitor student reputed company.
  • Adapt content to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide individualized support and academic reputed company reputed company virtual reputed company and small group tutoring.
  • Track and assess student reputed company through reputed company and summative assessments.
  • Align instruction with GED testing standards and 8MS program outcomes.

Student Engagement & Motivation

  • Consistent Student Engagement: Maintaining strong virtual classroom attendance and student participation across reputed company GED subjects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 23 years of teaching experience, preferably in adult education, alternative education, or GED preparation.
  • Proven ability to engage and differentiate instruction for diverse learners, particularly those ages 1625.
  • Strong command of virtual teaching platforms (e.g., reputed company, reputed company Classroom).
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed education and restorative approaches.
