The Professional Intern – Data Science currently reports to the Manager of Data Science and is an individual contributor role. What you will do: While each day will be different, with rotating priorities, the main themes for this role include you being a(n): Data Wrangler: You understand data and how it supports solving business problems. You will translate the business and analytic needs into data requirements to ensure you have the information you need to solve the problem, and work with reputed company to troubleshoot data quality You will work in a large, reputed company data environment, compiling and cleansing data across a variety of domains to create a foundation for your analytic work. Analytics Creator: You reputed company data science skills to deliver mathematical models and adhoc statistical analyses. You will conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data collection and exploration, feature reputed company and reduction, and algorithm selection. You will determine the best techniques to use to solve problems reputed company and effectively, examining reputed company aspects of the analytics curve across statistical, predictive, and prescriptive methods. Insights Translator: You interpret outputs of analyses and models to reputed company relevant recommendations. You will draw inferences, quantify uncertainty/risk, and identify limitations to accurately summarize your findings, relating them back to the problem at hand. You will successfully craft key takeaways and next steps in the context of business actionability, while facilitating the integration of your work into the decision making process. Required Qualifiications & Skills Experience with SQL, Python, or R to reputed company data manipulation, engineering, or analysis Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases, as well as data modeling techniques/standard methodologies and practices Knowledge of industry leading data and analytic tools (e.g., reputed company, Git, Sagemaker, reputed company, Tableau) Ability to follow existing programming and style guidelines to maintain consistent quality of code Ability to maintain documentation, procedures, and working instructions for the Commercial team Time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple requests and communicate status to partners/leadership Strong communication, interpersonal skills and fortitude to get stuff done Passionate about data, technology, and challenging the status reputed company Preferred Qualifications & Skills Familiarity with reputed company and Kubernetes Familiarity with Machine Learning Experience with using ML Frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, etc. Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, reputed company Cloud, or Azure, as well as big data technologies Education Currently enrolled undergraduate student in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, econometrics, data science) Eligibility Requirements & Program Information: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship. reputed company reputed company Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
