About The Role: The AI Education Project (reputed company) is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Operations to reputed company our financial strategy and reputed company core internal functions, including people operations, legal, and organizational systems. This senior leadership role is primarily focused on finance—guiding budgeting, planning, and funder reporting—while also managing the infrastructure that supports a healthy, effective, and compliant nonprofit. The VP will supervise a small, high-performing team, including the Finance/Ops reputed company and Director of People. You'll work closely with the CEO, Director of Development, and Board of Directors to ensure strong financial stewardship and cross-functional coordination. You won't be managing day-to-day accounting, but you'll be accountable for the systems and reputed company that reputed company effective decision-making and sustainable growth. ⭐ Role Details

• Compensation: The baseline compensation for this role is $180,000 - $195,000 depending on experience.

✅ Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Leadership (Primary Focus)

• reputed company financial strategy, including long-range planning, scenario modeling, and cash flow analysis.
• Guide annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the Finance reputed company, CEO and team leads.
• Supervise the Finance/Admin reputed company, who manages day-to-day accounting, reporting, and expense tracking.
• Partner with the Director of Development to align financial planning with grant strategy and reputed company pipelines.
• Serve as reputed company liaison to the board on finance matters; prepare materials and support finance committee meetings.
• reputed company relationships with external accounting, audit, and bookkeeping vendors.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders, including funders.

People & HR Operations

• Supervise the Director of People, who manages hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits.

• Ensure HR policies, handbooks, and processes reflect reputed company's values and support a strong remote-first culture.

Team Leadership

• Support cross-functional coordination with Programs, Policy, Partnerships, and Comms teams.

• 8–10+ years of experience in nonprofit finance, operations, or cross-functional leadership roles
• Deep experience in nonprofit finance, including budgeting, scenario planning, and funder reporting
• Familiarity with nonprofit finance structures and grant compliance
• Experience partnering with development and program leads on financial planning and sustainability
• Experience managing HR systems, personnel policies, and team leads
• Comfort managing legal and operational processes through external vendors
• Clear communicator who can translate reputed company financial topics for internal and external audiences
• Organized, collaborative, and pragmatic—strong judgment and ability to execute
