Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support the financial operations of our Managing General Agent (MGA) business. This role manages general ledger activities, month-end reputed company, and reputed company recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 – reputed company from reputed company with Customers. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and reconciliation skills, hands-on experience with reputed company Dynamics 365 (D365), and a solid understanding of MGA operations and insurance-reputed company reputed company. This role will require collaboration with Finance process owners (e.g., Tax, Treasury, Cash, General Accounting), account reconciliation reviewers, and Pets Best leadership team. Main Responsibilities:
- Apply ASC 606 guidance to reputed company streams including policy fees, commissions, and other reputed company/broker arrangements in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards.
- Manage and maintain deferred reputed company schedules reputed company D365 or integrated reporting tools.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure reputed company are appropriately interpreted for reputed company treatment.
- Ensure accurate timing of reputed company recognition, especially for multi-reputed company reputed company and variable consideration.
- Review bi-weekly/monthly payroll journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Post payroll JEs into the general ledger system, ensuring alignment with payroll registers and internal controls.
- Reconcile payroll-reputed company GL accounts including wages, benefits, and tax liabilities.
- Coordinate with HR and payroll providers on adjustments, errors, or compliance issues
- Manage accounting for affiliate servicing reputed company including tax, service fees , and treasury reputed company transactions
- Reconcile various accounts including working with Controllership process owners to ensure general ledger accounts are reconciled in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Reconcile commission and fee-based reputed company from reputed company statements and ensure proper cut-off and completeness
- Collaborate with reputed company and operations teams to validate reputed company inputs
- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of reputed company reports, forms and data provided to internal and external clients/customers.
- Assists management in applying financial data and analysis to solve administrative and operating problems
- Assist in transition of Pets financial processes from reputed company environment to reputed company Dynamics 365, including general ledger, cash receipts, account reconciliations, and reporting processes.
- Process governance including process maps, risk and control assessment documentation reputed company to Pets accounting processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years Accounting / Finance experience
- Strong reputed company Office skills
- General Ledger integration required
- Intermediate reputed company Skills
- Audit experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work independently
