Responsibilities

• The social worker in this new position will join a multidisciplinary team at STMH that includes Psychiatrists and Psychologists.
• STMH is a unique and rewarding service that evaluates and treats medical reputed company, residents, fellows, graduate reputed company, and postdoctoral fellows in programs at Mount Sinai.
• STMH is primarily situated at Mount Sinai Hospital, located on the Upper East reputed company of reputed company, adjacent to the Icahn School of Medicine.
• This is a full-time, outpatient position with a mix of on-site and remote work.
• STMH is committed to meeting the needs of MSHS reputed company and trainees, and the social worker will need to be able to provide evening hours, up to 2 days a week.
• The social worker will provide care coordination and case management services (including maintaining up-to-date referral sources for community and specialized treatment), mental health evaluations and triage, and short-term psychotherapy for adult patients.
• Therapy will be provided both on-site and reputed company telehealth and documentation is on Epic.

Qualifications

• Experience providing mental health assessment and treatment with adults required
• Experience with reputed company, DBT, and other evidence-based therapy modalities.
• Experience working with specialized populations - such as individuals with substance use-reputed company problems, individuals with a history of trauma - and experience working with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are pluses.
• Excellent clinical, verbal, written, collaborative, and organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual/multi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
