We are seeking a full time 40-hour LPN to work onsite Monday through Friday. We are open the LPN's schedule being either 5, 8-hour shifts or 4,10-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm. This role is primarily focused on phone-triage in our call center for two providers with some in-person nurse visits as needed. Under the supervision of a Nurse Manager or licensed clinical leader and in collaboration with other team members, provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with the scope of practice. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Interviews patients about reputed company problems, medications, and allergies and reviews medical records for pertinent previous and reputed company information. -Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration. -Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, performing catheterizations, routine immunizations, and/or nebulizer treatments and visual acuity tests. -Participates in patient treatment regimen, including administering medications (under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse). -Performs variety of office responsibilities: answers phones and takes messages and performs triage reputed company scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely manner. -Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and reputed company routine laboratory tests on samples. -Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures. -Help patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
