As a Strategic Market Growth & Merchant Enablement Specialist, you will be a key player in expanding our third-party seller ecosystem within the USA. This role is strategically focused on acquiring, developing, and nurturing high-value merchant relationships, optimizing product selection, enhancing pricing strategies, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers. You will be instrumental in identifying market gaps and executing growth strategies to attract and retain top-tier sellers, ultimately maximizing our product assortment and strengthening our customer base.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deep Market Acumen & Competitive Intelligence: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace landscape, including seasonal trends, global dynamics, and competitor activities. Continuously monitor competitor strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Strategic Merchant Acquisition & Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and onboard high-potential sellers to our platform through direct outreach, industry events, and compelling presentations.
  • Merchant Success & Enablement: Serve as a trusted advisor to sellers, sharing best practices in online selling, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives.
  • Internal & External Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively engage with and influence internal and external stakeholders to address merchant challenges, resolve issues, and foster a collaborative ecosystem.
  • Growth Strategy Execution: Develop and implement targeted growth strategies to expand product categories, optimize pricing, and attract new sellers.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and provide regular reports on merchant growth, performance, and market trends.
  • Market Expansion & New Product Introduction: Identify and support the introduction of new and innovative products to the marketplace, ensuring successful market penetration and adoption.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of proven success in a sales-focused role within enterprise environments, preferably in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or FMCG industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets through the application of consultative and solution-oriented sales methodologies.
  • A strong passion for promoting new merchandise and offerings into emerging markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and a highly motivated, results-driven approach to success.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex economic data.
  • Polished communication skills – adept at speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience specifically within the e-commerce sector.
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing electronics or related product categories.
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience.
