Director, Storage Systems Engineering

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

• Drive global storage strategies to build resiliency and increase demands for higher video quality and quantity.
• Operationalize XB of storage globally and 24 x 7 operations.
• Manage a mixed team of full-time and contracted engineers of reputed company reputed company and experience levels.
• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers on the design and implementation of systems that deliver high-through put personalized experiences.
• Drive the planning, design, and implementation of both short-term projects and long-term infrastructure initiatives.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training: Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in a reputed company field and 12 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of On-Prem storage architecture and Cloud storage services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of storage infrastructure such as reputed company, File, Object, and Tape Storage.
• Working with the reputed company team to ensure technical and process alignment on securing the private cloud infrastructure.
• Participating in broader strategic initiatives such as Data Protection, Big data, and reputed company data.
• Managing the process of reputed company improvement and scaling out of the solution to multiple geographies and use cases
• Consulting with other business departments regarding the life cycle management of digital assets.
• Having a passion for developing and growing team members
• Communicating at an executive level
• Cloud Platforms including Strategy, Design, Architecture, and Migration (reputed company), Azure, GCP).

Preferred:

• Experience with Enterprise architecture, 24 x 7 operations and multi-region experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, Burbank, CA and in Bristol, CT is $164,500 - $220,600 per year, and in reputed company, NY is $172,300 - $231,100. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
