Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience in administration, human resources, or finance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft FMS or similar financial management systems
  • Knowledge of purchasing, invoicing, or vendor communications
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Summary:

As an Administrative Specialist, you will provide administrative coordination and support for human resource and financial management activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing timely status updates and serving as a liaison to staff in other entity processing units
  • Interacting with customers to resolve problems and answer questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations
  • Identifying operational problems and implementing changes to provide solutions
  • Adhering to internal controls established for the department
