Location Requirement: Remote or onsite? Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Up to 100% remote in Wisconsin, but hybrid is an option. Milwaukee County is seeking an experienced, high-energy business analyst for initiatives within the Department of Administrative Services - Information Management Services Division project portfolio. Responsibilities will be to assist with finalizing requirements for a government public sector Salesforce implementation, including close direction and support of business stakeholders, documentation of As Is and To Be process flows and movement of data within web pages in the application, and thorough testing before turning the functionality over to business stakeholders for end user testing . Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business processes as it relates to the system and user needs. Formulates business processes to support overall business strategies. Ability to communicate effectively with users and departmental management. Experience with identifying solutions to business problems using process reengineering and technology. Familiar with current and emerging technologies and standards. Effective at following plans and completing goals on time and on budget. At ease at working independently and able to perform a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Skills:

  • Five or more years of experience with SalesForce business analysis or related area. MUST HAVE SALESFORCE BA EXPERIENCE
  • Understanding of business processes and process mapping: Able to document the processes and process mapping in a format that is understanding by both business line stakeholders and by technical architects.
  • Excellent communication skills including experience presenting to Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to develop, document and communicate effective business requirements with traceability to test cases.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required by the position.
  • Able to present the functional systems for the project in a way that a business stakeholder can understand, especially when the stakeholder does not understand the system functionality well.
  • Owns and manages all scope items. Drives through each requirement to ensure the technical teams understand them, are able to estimate against them, and can successfully deliver against them.

Desired Skills:

  • 2 Years of Previous government experience
  • Six Sigma, Lean or Equivalent Process Reengineering Certification
  • Prior experience with Jira software
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Public Sector product suite
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology with a strong Accounting emphasis, and solid experience with business applications.
