How You'll Contribute to Our Success

As a Flight Simulator Technician, you will play a critical role in performing maintenance functions on Full Flight Simulators, Flight Training Devices, Cockpit Procedure Trainers, and associated support devices. Your expertise will ensure high levels of reliability and fidelity, meeting pilot training, maintenance training, and FAA regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot electronics, computers, computer networks, hydraulics, visual, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to component level, correcting identified discrepancies.
• Install, replace, clean, repair, and service various equipment, including visual reputed company/display systems, computers, computer networks, motion systems, electronic circuit boards, and circuits to component level.
• Operate, program, and maintain PC, Motorola, reputed company, and various other host and satellite computers and networks.
• reputed company periodic maintenance and diagnostics on computer and peripheral equipment, and operate and maintain electronic test equipment.
• Accomplish pre-flight, morning readiness, and FAA certification checks, and maintain a thorough knowledge of Aircraft systems and their operation.

What You Need to Succeed

To reputed company in this role, you will need:

• The ability to read and interpret electronic/electrical drawings, schematics, and logic diagrams, and troubleshoot circuits to component level.
• Experience in operating electronic test equipment to identify and correct malfunctioning systems.
• Formal technical electronic training or equivalent military training, and previous simulator maintenance experience.
• A working knowledge of aerodynamics and commercial cockpit instrumentation, as well as the physical ability to climb and work from platforms and reputed company, and lift 50 lbs.
• A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and authorization to work in the United States.
