Job Title: Tutor - Success Center (Immediate Hire) - Remote Opportunity in the USA

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor to join our Success Center team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB). As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing academic support to students, promoting student success, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group tutoring to students in various subjects, focusing on improving their academic performance and understanding of course materials
• Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies, adapting to the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with instructors and other tutors to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and other relevant data
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills and stay updated on best practices

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum 3.0 grade in subjects desiring to tutor
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Strong commitment to student success, diversity, and inclusion
