Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Unit Supervisor, the Part-Time Library Specialist will provide support services and customer service to internal and external customers. Responsibilities include information desk functions, reputed company maintenance, periodicals maintenance, and recording basic library statistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for libraries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Respond to in-person, mail, telephone, IM, and email requests for information and research
• Provide mobile reference services and assist patrons with print and online resources

Requirements
