Title I Tutor (Limited Full-Time) - Supporting Student Success in Idaho Falls
Join our team at Idaho Falls School District 91 and make a difference in the lives of students as a Title I Tutor! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide targeted support to students in reading and math. As a Title I Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential and succeed academically.
About the Role:
- Location: Remote (with some in-person requirements)
- Schedule: 29 hours per week
- Salary: $15.32 - $16.08 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Benefits: In accordance with Board policy
Responsibilities:
- Administer reading and math tests to identify student achievement levels
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and Building Administrators to determine instructional needs
- Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students in reading and math
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress
- Assist with data collection and reporting for state and federal agencies
- Participate in in-service classes, building meetings, and district meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 48 college credits or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Praxis
- Knowledge and skills in teaching and using math and reading
- Ability to work with staff, students, and the public
- Computer knowledge and experience with word processing, email, and spreadsheets
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
