Med-Surg Adult Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time)

Join Chamberlain University as a Med-Surg Adult Clinical Nursing Instructor and inspire the next generation of nursing professionals! We are seeking a passionate and experienced nurse educator to teach students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at our Irwindale, CA campus, with clinical partnerships in Mission Hills, Paramount, and San Fernando Valley.

As a Med-Surg Adult Clinical Nursing Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. You will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes, as well as providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement clinical experiences for nursing students
• Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students
• Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their level of performance
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge base and skill competency
• Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and other written work in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Master's (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in California
• At least three years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
• Clinical skills competency verification and successful completion of an auto-graded med math exam
