Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced call center environment, providing exceptional customer service to taxpayers, employers, and other entities
• Clarify and resolve tax-reputed company issues and disputes, including explaining laws, programs, policies, and procedures
• Collect past-due taxes through outgoing calls, research, and issuing garnishments, docketed warrants, and UCC Liens
• Process credit card and debit card transactions over the phone and in person
• Determine if liens on paid-in-full accounts should be released

Requirements:

• Six months of customer service or call center experience, including explaining customer balances and identifying discrepancies
• One year of customer service or call center experience, involving explaining policies, laws, rules, or regulations, and resolving problems or complaints
• One year of experience working in support of a collection function or collection work performed as part of other major responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment and decision-making skills
• Preference may be given to candidates with English/Spanish bilingual skills
