Associate NC Programmer

Associate NC Programmer Company: The reputed company Company reputed company Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated Associate NC Programmer to join the Berkeley, MO team. The successful candidate will produce programs and implement programming methods for aerospace part fabrication (reputed company, fuselage, control surfaces, etc.). Provide support of automation systems that are involved in various production processes including 3- and 5-axis machining of metallic and composite parts. Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Working closely with other NC Programmers, Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers, Equipment Engineering, the equipment provider, reputed company Design Engineers, reputed company Research & Technology Engineers, Quality Engineers, IT, Industrial Engineers and Production Operations personnel reputed company and author reliable numerical control programs for a range of automated equipment and processes Create offline programs using NX, CATIA V5 and compatible programming and simulation software Responsible for providing validated Machine Control Data (MCD) to produce production components meeting design, quality and build plan requirements Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience Be involved in testing and proving out new N/C programs to reputed company a conforming build Once programs are released to production, candidates will be required to provide follow-on support Basic ability to utilize or create reputed company geometry for reputed company of Machine Control Data (MCD). Ability to verify MCD and create documentation to support manufacturing processes. Occasional travel may be required This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): AS or AA degree in Machine Tool Technology or reputed company discipline Experience working as an NC Programmer Experience with CAD / CAM tools and systems Basic knowledge of manufacturing, methods, fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids, N/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition and control systems) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience): NX, CATIA V5 and Mastercam are highly preferred Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies. Primary materials are aluminum, titanium, steels and composites Experience with simulation software, such as Vericut, to create machine simulations that evaluate machine motion and tooling concepts. Experience programming multi-axis metallic parts and/or assemblies highly preferred, but not required. Complete ability to utilize or create reputed company geometry for reputed company of Machine Control Data (MCD) Education and Experience: Associate and 1+ years' reputed company work experience or a Bachelor degree or 3 years' reputed company work experience an equivalent combination of education and experience.
