Staff Physician (Part Time) - Student Health Center
Scheduled Hours 30 Position Summary Seeking MD to join our college health medical team on the Danforth reputed company in reputed company as a staff physician. We serve undergraduate and graduate reputed company in an outpatient ambulatory setting. Provide primary health care for a diverse student population. This includes providing a range of clinical services, including diagnostic assessment, medication management, and appropriate referral to off-reputed company resources, and coordination of care between specialists and family members as indicated. This includes performing minor procedures as approved on the personal medical privilege form. Job Type/Schedule. Part time, 4 day per week, 12 month position. Schedule consists primarily of daily in-clinic shifts. On call duties consist of carrying phone for emergency coverage, currently we have no weekend in-clinic hours.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Primary Duties & Responsibilities Provides direct patient care for reputed company. Includes obtaining patient history, performing patient assessment reputed company observation, interview and examination; orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies such as xray, lab and ekg; performs preventative health assessments, reputed company screenings, immunizations and care; provides direct treatment and management of acute and chronic disease conditions; develops and implements patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with patients, nurses, ancillary care providers and others as appropriate to the patient's condition. Manages health conditions reputed company prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources; may reputed company diagnostic or therapeutic interventions consistent with certification and state regulations. Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Monitors/ensures accuracy of patient medical records; maintains reputed company required reports, records, statistics, etc. Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with established clinic/hospital standards.. Works in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Regularly participates in constant quality improvement and process improvement activities centered on the goal of providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Recent primary or urgent care experience. Experience with young adult population Experience with minor in-office procedures such as Suturing, I&D, Reproductive/Sexual health exams .
