Job Summary and Qualifications As a work from home Trauma Clinical Data Abstractor reputed company, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities as it relates to abstraction of data for trauma registry. What you will do in this role:

• Provides general workflow direction to abstraction staff.
• Assists Clinical Data Abstraction Manager in the review and improvement of processes and services
• Completes quality control monitoring and reporting of completed abstracts for accuracy and timeliness
• Responsible for reviewing medical records and following standards to abstract information according to various regulatory bodies and reputed company/Parallon.
• Assists in staff training and development.
• Completes edit checks and makes appropriate changes on a timely basis.
• Follow standards and reputed company/Parallon instructions to abstract reputed company reportable cases.
• Maintains or exceeds established productivity and quality standards
• Assist with case follow-up as requested.
• Attend educational activities as approved by Manager or Director.
• Maintain clinical knowledge of various abstracted measures.
• Communicate in a timely manner with manager to maintain compliance.
• Reports to the manager on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, reputed company in mastering tasks and processes.
• Resolve errors resulting in the rejection of records from the data entry system.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Trauma Registry abstraction required
• Health Information Management; Coding, and Nursing experience beneficial
• CAISS credential through the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine required reputed company 12 months of hire
• CSTR, RHIT, RHIA, reputed company certification preferred
• LVN or RN preferred
