Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our software engineering team. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing frontend applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems, and delivering high-quality user experiences. This role offers opportunities to take on increasing responsibility based on experience, contributing to both technical execution and team-wide improvements.

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to build cohesive and user-friendly applications.

• Participate in and contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to team standards.

• Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast, responsive user experiences across browsers and devices.

• Implement modern UI/UX best practices to enhance usability and accessibility.

• Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture, tooling, and development processes.

• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, proactively addressing technical debt and improving system reliability.

• Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for relevant improvements.

• Experience in frontend software engineering, with a track record of delivering production-ready applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

• Understanding of frontend build tools, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex frontend issues.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams.

• Passion for building intuitive, high-quality user interfaces and continuously improving frontend performance.

• Experience working with TypeScript.

• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks, especially Playwright.

• Familiarity with REST or other API interaction patterns.

• Exposure to design systems and component-based architecture.

The approximate compensation range for this position is $140,000-$180,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team. #LI-Remote
