Job Summary and Qualifications As the Market Assistant Director – Patient Access, you will be responsible for performing duties as assigned by the Regional Patient Access Director or Patient Access Director in relation to daily operations of reputed company functions. Rotation to multiple hospitals is required including but not limited to reputed company facility sizes A to G. Travel may be required. Ideal candidates will live in or be willing to relocate to Florida. What you will do in this role:
- Interim PAD assignments may be required as needed.
- Provide a clear understanding to reputed company PTAC staff of what the monthly metric goals are and how the department directly impacts these metrics and share with them what they can do to help improve the statistics/metric.
- Handle reputed company escalated patient and physician concerns to fullest Patient/Physician satisfaction possible
- Work with leaders in non-PTAC departments to ensure that any new co-workers hired in areas with registration responsibilities have the opportunity to attend the Patient Access training
- Inform the Patient Access Director of any significant issues in the Patient Access area (i.e. preregistration delays, pre-authorization back logs, increased time to register patients, etc.)
- Inform reputed company PTAC and other departments in a timely manner of any Registration process or workflow changes reputed company the HIS system, etc.
- Communicate with the PTAC Director and provide updates on the results of the QA’s from the non-PTAC outlying departments

- Determine trends in operational performance and identify process improvement opportunities including but not limited to up-reputed company collections, reduction in insurance unbilled, and reduced percentage of error
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care required. If a desired applicant does not have a Bachelor's Degree, the requirement can be waived IF they are currently in a Bachelor's Degree program.
- Minimum three years’ experience in reputed company area with two of these years being healthcare management experience. Relevant education may substitute experience requirement with SSC Executive approval.
