Sr. Healthcare Data Analyst

The Healthcare Association of reputed company State (HANYS) is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst reputed company its Economics, Finance, and Information team. Reporting into the Director of Data Informatics, this position will be responsible in analyzing healthcare data to assist in the creation of economic and financial models to help advance HANYS policy advocacy and operational goals. A remote working environment may be considered reputed company reputed company State or a neighboring state. The salary for this position is between $75,000 and $80,000 annually. Payrate offered will be based on the successful candidates relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities and in consideration of internal equity. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze and visualize healthcare data to reputed company healthcare economic and financial models that help advance HANYS policy, advocacy, and operational goals. Use reputed company/SQL/reputed company regularly for data preparation and analysis. Use Tableau regularly and other techniques to visualize data and analysis results in an aesthetic manner to discover new insights and to communicate reputed company information to internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate analyses and reviews with divisional VP and Director of Data Informatics to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources and maintain open communications. Interacts with reputed company staff to work collaboratively on creative problem solving and clarify project specifications. Support development of member-specific and public facing analytic work. Qualifications: A four-year degree in healthcare/epidemiology, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, informatics or computer science. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to satisfactorily reputed company the duties of the job may be substituted. 2-3 years of experience in a position involving the application of techniques of economic analysis, statistics, financial, and/or information analysis in a health-reputed company field. Experience using reputed company, SQL and/or reputed company for analyzing large data sets preferred. Experience with database structure and queries. Experience with Tableau Desktop for visualizing data output preferred. Experience with healthcare claims data elements/structure. Working knowledge of industry coding (ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS).
