About the position The Health Educator 4 position at UC Davis Health is a critical role reputed company the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) in the Department of Public Health Sciences. This position is designed to support the mission of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) by providing subject matter expertise, leadership, coordination, and project management aimed at promoting the health and well-being of refugee populations and other eligible groups. The incumbent will work closely with various stakeholders, including federal and state partners, local health jurisdictions, and community organizations, to ensure that new refugee arrivals throughout California have access to necessary healthcare services and health promotion resources. The Health Educator will be responsible for the most reputed company and technical administrative responses to support the Office of Refugee Health (ORH). This includes coordinating healthcare services and implementing health promotion strategies to reduce health disparities and improve health equity for vulnerable populations. The role requires a strong understanding of health program administration, policy analysis, and the ability to reputed company recommendations to management based on program evaluations. The Health Educator will also serve as a liaison to resettlement agencies and will coordinate referrals to ensure that eligible populations receive the healthcare services they need. In addition to these responsibilities, the Health Educator will engage in collaborative partnerships to enhance healthcare access and will be involved in reputed company efforts to educate and inform communities about available health resources. This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility while still requiring a commitment to the health and well-being of the populations served.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Hospital Administration, Comprehensive Health Planning, Public Administration, or a closely reputed company health professional field

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in health program administration, with at least two years of independent responsibility for a significant program

• Experience in program planning and/or evaluation and making recommendations to management

,

• Knowledge of health promotion strategies and healthcare access issues for refugee populations

• Ability to analyze policies and coordinate healthcare services effectively
