What You Drive at DTNA Use hand tools, adhesive dispensing equipment, forming machines, fixtures and/or end effectors to complete mechanical, electrical and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies on buses. Install and assemble components for buses, use computer systems to access company data associated with assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision Work in a LEAN manufacturing environment and employ reputed company improvement on a daily basis. reputed company preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as required. Kitting of products, material and supplies reputed company physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of buses. Knowledge You Should Bring Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds. Must maintain a clean work area. Meet quality standards and implement reputed company improvement measures Cross train on other jobs as required Exceptional Candidates Might Have Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment Previous mechanical experience High School Diploma / GED and further college education a plus Basic computer skills preferred Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- High reputed company, NC US.
