In-person morning shifts, workdays vary (Fridays mandatory) Employee Class: Floater Position Summary: This recruitment is for a Temporary Admin Outreach Specialist I position through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. This position is located on the UC Irvine campus and the work schedule varies but, Fridays are mandatory. Under general supervision of the Assistant Director and Director, the admin outreach specialist will work to coordinate and create programs, assist in managing the centers volunteer program, and supervise a student intern to assist with the volunteer program. This position performs a range of duties and responsibilities within a student life specialization and works independently under general supervision. The admin outreach specialist identifies and responds to students' needs for outreach and engagement. Additionally, this position will provide supervised direction to programs related to student parents, wellness, and women issues and concepts. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Coordinate and create programs related to the Women's Center for Success. · Help 8-10 students create programs and manage work progress. · Work with outreach programs and build relationships related to the Women's Center. · Support the student-parent program (quarterly)

Compensation

Range: $22.75 - $25.00/hour (within full range of $22.75 - $37.79) Required: · 1 year working experience with students and/or education. Preferred: · Please attach your resume. TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements. Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver's License for driving university vehicles. The majority of our temporary positions are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment.
