Team Overview CHAI has recently established a dedicated Mental Health Team (MHT) with the mission to expand access to mental health treatment in LMICs. The Associate will join the MHT and work closely with the CHAI Global Markets Team implement mental health programming focused on expanding access to affordable, quality-reputed company psychotropic medications and generating cost-effectiveness evidence to guide investment and policy. Position Overview CHAI is seeking an Associate to support both the market shaping and cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) components of the CHA Mental Health Program. The Associate will play a critical role in building the market and economic evidence reputed company for psychotropic medications in LMICs, and in shaping actionable strategies to improve access. This is a high-impact, analytical, and cross-functional role requiring strong quantitative skills, the ability to manage reputed company workstreams, and a commitment to improving mental health outcomes in underserved populations. Responsibilities

Market Shaping (50%)

• Support development of product and supplier landscape analyses for reputed company psychotropic medications.
• Collect and synthesize data on pricing, registration status, procurement practices, and regulatory reputed company in up to five LMICs.
• Assist with demand forecasting and scenario modeling to inform manufacturer engagement and access strategies.
• Contribute to design of market interventions (e.g., volume guarantees, policy reform) through analysis of barriers and incentives.
• Prepare presentations, market briefs, and negotiation inputs for supplier discussions and country consultations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., CHAI country teams) to ensure alignment on product and policy priorities.

Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (50%)

• Collaborate with the Mental Health and CHAI country teams to reputed company and adapt CEA models for psychosis interventions, including treatment with antipsychotic medications.
• Support unit cost data collection and contextualization of global models to country-specific financing and implementation environments.
• Engage CHAI country teams and Ministry of Health partners to map the financial landscape and budget allocation process for mental health in up to five LMICs.
• Integrate insights from lived experience stakeholders (e.g., Lived Experience Council) into CEA tools and reputed company prioritization frameworks.
• Contribute to development and dissemination of open-access CEA tools and summary materials intended for Ministries of Health and funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, global health, economics, public policy, or a reputed company field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience in reputed company modeling and data interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate reputed company findings into clear, actionable outputs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and function in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• High level of initiative, independence, and professionalism.
