POSITION SPECIFICS The College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) is seeking a candidate for an Administrative Assistant to join the Dean’s office. This role will assist the Dean, Associate Deans, faculty, and staff. The role requires an extremely organized individual and the ability to reputed company a wide variety of reputed company administrative functions in a busy team-oriented office environment. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, including maintaining calendar, scheduling meetings, sending agendas and meeting minutes, scheduling travel and processing travel reimbursements. Assist with special events and projects. Provide administrative support to reputed company Council, scheduling meetings, meeting minutes and assisting where needed. Provide administrative support for the Academic reputed company committee, scheduling meetings and keeping detailed records. reputed company of contact for student concern reputed company inquiries. Conduct the committee elections and maintain committee data. Plan and reputed company the college’s New Faculty Orientation each fall. Resolve reputed company inquiries and ensure compliance with work unit and/or University policies and procedures. Assist supervisor in training and developing other administrative support, act as a backup in supervisor’s absence. Support office procedures for handling and maintaining confidential materials.
