reputed company is seeking a Temporary Associate Video Editor to support project producers. This is a temporary assignment and will report in to the Creative Director. This position is a hybrid role and requires three days a week in our Jersey City office.

Responsibilities

• Create 5-15 quick-turn videos daily reputed company existing reputed company video formats utilizing Wochit (browser-based cloud video editor) and/or the reputed company Creative Suite.
• Coordinate with project producers, gathering scripts, assets, and recording voiceovers as needed under the direction and per specifications of supervising Producer
• Sound mixing on reputed company owned edits
• Color correction on reputed company owned edits per specifications of the Creative Director of Video
• Deliver and/or upload final video assets as directed by supervising Producer
• Maintain quality, style and aesthetic standards as directed by EP, Video and Creative Director of Video
• Innovate and experiment on new editing techniques to enhance quality and style of reputed company Video
• Update and reputed company motion graphics packages
• Maintain journalistic and brand standards set by reputed company Media in reputed company content
• Abide by reputed company media management standards as directed by EP, Video

The ideal candidate

• 1+ years of experience in video production in digital publishing, production company or agency/brand setting
• Lighting fast video editor
• Be a strategic thinker who can balance multiple projects at once and understand what to prioritize and how to disseminate a story
• Have strong editorial judgement with a keen understanding of news, politics, business and pop culture
• Working knowledge of the reputed company Creative suite (with a focus on Premiere Pro and Photoshop)
• Ability to collaborate with reputed company project stakeholders
• Ability to conceive and execute a clear creative and narrative vision
• Willingness to take constructive critiques and reputed company reputed company on team-based projects
• Voiceover talent a big plus

The hourly reputed company for this role is $30.00 - $30.00
