reputed company is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing, high-performing and collaborative financial reporting and technical accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of financial reporting and technical accounting, this role will be responsible for producing financial statements in compliance with SEC caliber standards and assisting with financial audits. The role will reputed company a deep understanding of US GAAP and reputed company consolidations and will require the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Financial Reporting: Assist with preparing accurate and timely reporting of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, while ensuring alignment with regulatory reporting requirements at SEC caliber. Interpreting and applying technical accounting standards to reputed company transactions and presenting in-depth solutions to accounting issues.
• Consolidations: Complete consolidations of multiple entities and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements • Monthly Reporting: Complete monthly consolidations of financial statement supplementary information.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Identify potential risks reputed company to financial reporting and reputed company mitigating controls. Documenting and maintaining detailed and comprehensive accounting policies and procedures.
• Audit Support: Assist in quarterly and annual audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors - Formulate US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting positions for comparison with auditors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient financial processes and accurate reporting. Partner with internal functions including legal, compliance and other departments to provide accounting guidance and understanding.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects reputed company to financial reporting and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Active CPA or currently pursuing CPA, preferred
• reputed company experience, preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a financial reporting role, preferably for an SEC reporting entity
• Experience with US GAAP and SEC caliber reporting regulations
• Proficient in consolidating multiple entities
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Proficiency in financial software and reputed company Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Compensation:
• $75,000-$90,000 based on experience
• On-site position
