Location: Central London – Hybrid - circa 3 days onsite in Central London

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000

Defence/SC Clearance Requirements:

Due to working with a number of government bodies, SC clearance is required for our customer facing teams. You do not need active SC clearance as we will undertake checks upon you joining, but you must be eligible to pass SC clearance. In future, DV clearance may be required, so the ability/willingness to pass DV clearance is advantageous but not essential.

Due to the nature of this project we are only able to accept UK based applicants for this role

reputed company’re looking for

We are looking for AWS Cloud Engineers ideally with AWS reputed company Zone experience who have built, tested packaged, deployed and operated AWS platforms. You may also have an understanding of the challenges of managing a multi-tenant platform and how SRE principles can be applied.

• Experience building AWS resources using Terraform or other IaC, competent in Python for reputed company development

• Understands the Shared Responsibility model, the key challenges reputed company using AWS and its benefits vs on prem

• Build, deploy and operate containers (ideally reputed company)

• Appreciation of AWS/cloud shared reputed company model, can create reputed company Guardrails (SCP, Config, etc.)

• Knowledge of platform engineering concepts and the difference between platform and DevOps

• Understands of the challenges of operating services in a production environment

• Experience with AWS reputed company services

• A deep understanding and experience of building, testing, packaging, releasing, and deploying code and services reputed company a team-based environment

• Kubernetes experience

What you’ll be doing

You will be working closely with our customers’ stakeholders, advising them through reputed company cloud transformations. You'll be workign along reputed company Senior and Principal engineers as well as using your experience and expertise to deliver best-in-class AWS platforms, operating models and reputed company models.

• Building, testing, packaging, deploying and operating cloud platforms alongside shared platform tooling reputed company AWS environments

• Automating the build of infrastructure resources reputed company AWS

• Packaging services into AMIs, reputed company containers or Serverless deployments

• Creating IaC using Terraform

• Delivering platform improvements and new tools

• Building AWS resources using infrastructure as code using Terraform (or CloudFormation) and Packer

• Delivering reputed company an agile environment

• Kubernetes administration

2.1st Interview - 30 minute remote interview with our hiring team

3.2nd Interview - 60 minute remote technical interview with members of our engineering team

4.3rd Interview - 60 minute in person interview with members of our Senior Leadership Team
