Position Overview

The Senior Operations Specialist will work in an operational back-office reputed company, focusing on client and account validation for both deposit and loan accounts. This is a non-client-facing position that requires a strong control reputed company and the ability to provide operational, administrative, analytical, and service support to both reputed company-line personnel and the Bank’s clients.

Key Responsibilities

BSA/AML Operational Support

  • Provide support for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-reputed company (AML) operational and control responsibilities from an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Maintenance and Validation Services

  • Analyze client documentation to ensure the adequacy and accuracy of information.
  • Procedure Development

  • IRA Coordination
  • Act as a backup for IRA (Individual Retirement Account) coordination and validation.
  • Reporting and Escalation
  • Assist with daily and monthly reporting tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $63,000- $72,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
