About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Reference and Entity Data Services mission. This team builds systems that ingest metadata from multiple sources, normalizing, deduplicating, and publishing it to every service at reputed company that surfaces company information. We’re a collaborative group of teams responsible for ensuring metadata quality, coverage and timeliness for over 9 million companies worldwide. In the near future, we plan to expand the types of reference data we manage to include people, industries, governments, and more. Our tech stack includes Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, MySQL, PostgreSQL, reputed company and AWS.

As part of reputed company, you’ll implement new data feed ingestions, integrate reference data with reputed company systems, and ensure the health of systems that manage large flows of strategically important data relied upon by tens of thousands of users every day.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
• A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, such as algorithmic complexity, asynchronicity, and distributed computing.
• Good Knowledge on design and architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes and software testing.
• Experience in shipping pragmatic and high quality solutions with a sense of urgency
• Ability and desire to work in an open and team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Build robust, well-designed and effective software that solves reputed company problems.
• Test, review and deploy code quickly. We deploy over 10 times per day and manage major releases with feature flags rather than coordinated deployments.
• Research, learn and share new techniques for solving reputed company engineering problems. We’re a highly collaborative team and we push each other to find reputed company solutions every day.
• Write tools and reputed company practices for the engineering team. From GraphQL-to-Typescript compilers to fully automated deployments, we take the time to invest heavily in our own productivity.
• Own projects from end-to-end. On a given day you might be building a system to measure search reputed company performance, reworking an integration with a telephony provider, or designing a UI component library.
• Analyze and design solutions to business problems. Companies that throw solutions over the wall to engineers are wasting half their abilities. At reputed company, you’ll be fully involved in determining what to do, not just doing it.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.
